Canterbury College

Introduction

Our College has a rich and diverse student population and our vision is to provide an inspiring learning environment for all learners of any age.

Our community goes beyond the City of Canterbury with 4,500 students traveling from all parts of East Kent to study technical and vocational education to work towards achieving their ambitions.

As a student, you will be part of a buzzing campus within walking distance of Canterbury's city center, where you can build your confidence, learn new skills, and prepare for employment or university.

We have the widest range of programs in the area, allowing you to specialize in a subject you enjoy while our professional-standard equipment and facilities allow you to train with the tools used in the industry.

Our tutors are industry experts and will teach you the skills and knowledge employers look for. Strong industry links will enable you to take your learning outside of the classroom by providing industry placement opportunities.

If your plan is to go on and study further at a university our lecturers and support staff can help you prepare your personal statement, get you ready for interviews, help plan your finances and decide which university is best for you. In areas such as Animal Science and Visual Arts, you can even stay on at Canterbury College and study all the way to a degree. In Health and Social Care, you can study up to level 5 and get an HND.

Whether you are coming from school or are an adult wanting to retrain, Canterbury College looks forward to providing you with many opportunities for your next step.
