四川电影电视学院established in 1992, and it is the second undergraduate art academy named for film in China approved by the Ministry of Education. The predecessor of the school was the Film and Television College of Sichuan Normal University. It was officially renamed四川电影电视学院with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2014. It is a modern art university with a strong artistic flavor and excellent teaching tradition. Sichuan Film is located in Chengdu, the "land of abundance". It has two campuses, Jinniu and Anren.
