Bachelor in Georgian Language and Literature Recep Tayyip Erdogan University

The aim of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Georgian Language and Literature Department who has been teaching since 2015, is to educate students who will be able to research in the fields of the Georgian language, literature, folklore, and culture, to do researches about the field, to do researches and to introduce them through publications, conferences and seminars. In the courses given in the section, information is given about the major literary works and people in the development line from the beginning of the Georgian writing language to the present, and examples from the historical and contemporary Georgian dialects written in various alphabets are introduced.

The opportunities for finding a job for our graduates are as follows: They can work in universities such as Georgian Language Lecturer, Research Assistant, Georgian Language Specialist. In addition, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Culture, TRT, libraries, archives, such as public institutions, press, and advertising in the field of private organizations can find jobs. Students who graduate from the program can study in academics by receiving post-graduate education in other Caucasian Languages and Cultures of other universities. They can also be employed in the relevant areas of the state. They can work in various educational institutions under the conditions stipulated by the Ministry of National Education. Media, publishing, advertising, personnel management, human resources, and art management are also areas where they can work.
