Introduction
The Neumann University Cybersecurity program prepares students for these demanding roles protecting critical computer systems, private data, communication infrastructures and intellectual property from cybercrime in both the private and public sectors. Neumann University students who complete the Cybersecurity program will have acquired the skills necessary to develop, evaluate and assess technology governance, identify risks to information technology and mitigate and manage responses to security incidents. Graduates of the Cybersecurity program can expect to be competitive in the job market as the demand for cyber professionals with a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity is expected to grow 18% through 2024 (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2018). In addition, the curricula and material in this program will align with certification exams such as Security +, Certified Network Defender, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional exams.
