Introduction
Agronomy is a science in which multiple disciplines converge and its object of study is the complex phenomenon of the agrosystem so that its production is carried out through sustainable processes.
Knowledge of Agronomy has located in the following dimensions: the first response to the living organism seen in individual terms, the second studies that organism and its relationships within the natural system and the third dimension includes the intervention of man in the system natural, for your benefit and survival. It can be considered that production systems and their realities configure complex systems, explained from Biology, together with the laws or theoretical developments of Chemistry and Physics.
The broad and humanistic dimension of Agronomy consists of knowing the social, economic, and political aspects that frame the production process, thus generating the development of technologies and the need for research. The Agronomist Engineer is trained to:
Provide agronomic solutions to the problem of production systems developing public or private activities through the roles of researcher, communicator, administrator, manager, educator, among others.
