Introduction
In the Computer Information Technology (CIT) program, applications are given more emphasis than formal properties. The student acquires a systematic body of knowledge concerning business problems and their solutions. Emphasis is given to business information systems, network administration, service support, system administration, and Web-based systems. Although the introductory sequence in the curriculum is programming, students should note that information technology involves much more than programming. The CIT program prepares students for work in the business arena. Students can choose to complete the CIT program with a concentration in Business Information Systems on-campus or through our online program.
