Introduction
The Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS) mission is to prepare future professionals who use information technologies to develop systems that meet the needs of governments, nonprofits, and businesses. These future CIS professionals are endowed with the ability to manage information systems and computing resources for an entire organization.
About the Department of Computer Information Services (CIS)
The Department of Computer Information Services offers four programs of study options in Computer Information Systems, including a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree, an area of emphasis or a minor.
The first option is the B.S. in Computer Information Systems (CIS), a 120 credit hour program that prepares professionals to use information technologies and develop systems that meet business and management needs. Students can choose between two concentrations:
