Introduction
The major in Agricultural Economics combines an enriched economics core along with the strength of agribusiness courses to develop students’ quantitative and analytical ability. These skills are developed using applications from the agriculture sector. The major also provides the opportunity for an increased understanding of agricultural sciences. Students take courses in operational analysis, price analysis, and agriculture and policy. They also complete a cluster in agricultural sciences (or food and nutrition).
