Introduction
Overview
Applied Informatics is concerned with the processing and use of data, information, and knowledge, and applied information systems in various spheres, namely, Economy and Management, Public Administration, Legal Affairs, Sociology, and others.
The course concentrates on creating links between theory and practice. It covers a wide variety of software and hardware technologies and their applications. Students are taught to solve professional tasks, among which are:
- information system analysis and practical IT support in problem-solving in business, culture, science, and other aspects of life;
- the use of modern information and communication technologies and program design for project development, introduction, and realization;
- workout of projects for automated control systems (ACS);
- IT-development management at the organization;
- training and consulting services for ACS management;
- IT maintenance
