Introduction
Biology students have the option to major in biology (no concentration) or focus on a specific concentration which includes:
- Pre-health
- Environmental Biology
- Biotechnology
Core courses include the following: general biology, botany, zoology, cell/molecular biology, and genetics.
The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences offers undergraduate training that leads to a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Each student works with an advisor to plan the program of study that best meets their professional goals. Also, students are encouraged to complete internships or participate in research experiences in the summer.
