International Business (Bachelor's full-time)
With the BSc. in International Business, you are responsible for a foreign branch of an international organization, with a different work ethic, culture, and language. You are an entrepreneur about to set up your own business in a market that is governed by completely different legislation than what you are used to. Or you have been commissioned to introduce a new product to a market in which the media landscape, consumer behavior and your competitors are entirely different in comparison to your home country. Are you the sort of person who relishes challenges like these? If so, prepare yourself to take them up by completing the International Business (IB) programme at the Amsterdam School of International Business. AMSIB prepares you for a career in the global mobile workforce. 
Programme
IB is a four-year full-time bachelor’s programme taught entirely in English. Through our innovative curriculum, you can customize your programme by choosing electives, specializations or up to two additional languages. The combination of lectures, real-business world projects, internship and global exchange, will prepare you to start your own business, launch a career at a multinational corporation, and thrive in the world of international business.Choose one of six specialization tracks such as Entrepreneurship or Language & Culture Immersion, where you will learn an additional business language such as Mandarin, French or Spanish. Additionally, you may opt for a regional specialization, for example, Asia, Latin America or Europe. In addition to the knowledge you will acquire, the programme pays great attention to your personal and professional development.

As an International Business (IB) graduate you are a valuable asset to employers as you have acquired a solid theoretical understanding of business administration and will be able to convert these theories into practice and actual products. During your studies, you will have already built a valuable network and will be able to fulfill an international function at management level in the business-to-consumer or business-to-business sector. By the time you complete your studies, you will be an educated business professional who is able to offer socially responsible business solutions for the challenges of tomorrow. With around 1.5 years of accumulated international experience, you will also be able to apply the practical knowledge that you have learned in a multicultural working environment.

Admission Criteria
In order to be admitted to the IB programme, you will need to have completed the standardized examinations for university entrance of your nation of origin. These include but are not limited to International Baccalaureate, Abitur, A-Levels in two subjects plus GCSEs in 4 additional subjects grades A*-C or BTEC Level 3. As the programme is conducted in English, we expect our students to be proficient in written and spoken English.
