Introduction
Bachelor’s degree graduates of Tourism and Hospitality Management have comprehensive knowledge of the environment, society, economics, and legal organization. This course will appeal to you if you are looking for a career in tourism, reputed to be the world’s biggest industry.
The 3-year full-time programme combined in-depth study of the tourism industry at home and abroad with the development of essential business knowledge and skills. A special feature of this course is an emphasis on increasingly important forms of tourism such as rural tourism, sustainable tourism, and ecotourism. The 12-week practical training forms an integral part of the educational process. Students can check their theoretical knowledge and put it into practice in prestigious hotels in Poland such as Europa Hotel, travel agencies, guest houses and in nature reserves and parks. They take part in a one-week field practice in the University Education and Recreational Centre in Piotrawin upon the Vistula and in the national tourist trade fairs (in Poznan, Warsaw) or can go to Berlin for the international fairs (ITB Berlin).
Students who successfully complete their studies obtain a degree diploma of higher education and a bachelor's degree in the field of their chosen specialty.
