There are always new demands on music managers and concert managers. They must assess the chances of success of performers and bands and market them globally and across channels. For concerts and festivals they are responsible for ticketing and concert management and at the same time supervise the rights of the individual artists. Study music management practice-oriented
The bachelor's degree program in Music Management and Concert Management offers insights into all industry-relevant management areas: How do I manage artists? Which distribution channels are there and how can I successfully market artists? Which logistical demands are made on festivals? How do I create a professional tour schedule?
Not every music management degree course offers students the best possible preparation for practical application: at the European Media and Business Academy, students implement real practical projects from the first semester. They develop concrete ideas or entire campaigns for companies and agencies and thus learn the right way to deal with customers and partners.
Course contents and course
The study of Music Manager and Concert Manager is part of the Bachelor program Applied Media. In the first three semesters, the focus is on the media, communication, journalistic basics, market and communication research as well as media business management. In the fourth semester, further specialization will take place with modules such as project and campaign management, public relations, content management or corporate branding.
International market conditions are becoming increasingly complex. Therefore, the degree program meets the requirements for cross-channel communication. The Bachelor is internationally recognized as a qualifying qualification for the profession. After completing a bachelor's degree, you will be able to study for a master's degree and then obtain the doctorate.
At the EMBA the exams and examinations directly follow the individual modules. This avoids a concentration of exams at the end of the semester and ensures optimal exam preparation. Very small seminar groups of 16 to a maximum of 20 students, the individual advice and support in all matters relating to study and the optimal technical equipment (including MacBook Air) offer the best conditions for successful media communication studies.

Degree from a state university
The EMBA combines the advantages of private and practice-oriented studies with the degree of the state university Mittweida. The academy phase is part of the accredited study model of the state university Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Saxony). After successfully completing the six-semester communication studies, the graduation is awarded the Bachelor of Arts (BA).
