The objectives of the degree in Environmental Sciences are, in summary: Training of professionals with a general, multidisciplinary and global vision of environmental problems, focused from various sectors of knowledge. Adequate training in scientific, technical, economic and legal aspects of the environment, in an interdisciplinary way. Specific orientation towards the conservation and management of the environment and natural resources, territorial planning, management and environmental quality, from the perspective of sustainability. Provide the necessary knowledge, techniques and practical tools to deal with new environmental problems and realities, new legislation and technologies, as well as new socio-environmental concerns and perceptions. Express yourself fluently, clearly and coherently, correctly using the discipline's own terminology, with consistency in your arguments through analysis, synthesis, reflection, comparison and understanding skills. Acquisition of a series of general skills, such as the ability to organize and plan, independent judgment, decision-making and respect for other people's points of view. Acquire a sufficient base for subsequent postgraduate, specialized or transdisciplinary studies. -
