Bachelor's Programs in Ecology in Czech Republic

The study programme provides a complex education in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) and the use of these techniques for environmental protection and management, with a special focus on the current topics of water and drought in the landscape and protection of biodiversity under the condition of a global climate change. -

The Systematic Biology and Ecology degree programme is mainly focused on systematics and phylogenesis of plant and animal organisms and their ecology. Graduates gain necessary knowledge in general biological disciplines, e.g. cellular and molecular biology, the anatomy and morphology of plants, general zoology, systematics and phylogenesis of plants and animals, physiology and ecology of plants and animals, genetics and microbiology. The aim of practical activities in laboratories as well as field survey and experience is to extend students´ knowledge and to turn theoretical knowledge into practical applications. -
