Program Description.

C.I.S. involves designing, programming and managing information systems. C.I.S. gives students the scientific practices and the process of software development that gives the ability to turn them into goods and services that can be marketed (i.e., technology). Also focuses on the development of standards and systems analysis and design and development of information systems. C.I.S. is trying to arm the students with the skills, science and tools that help them in the development of modern and smart information systems using the last available technologies. Also, the program addresses all the stages of the analysis and design of specifications to design databases, develop an application and follow-up implementation and administration.


Students of this program are able to use computer lab with different software such as: Visual Studio, Oracle, etc., and libraries and other facilities.


The program has a cooperation agreement with eight IT Companies such as Spark, Israa, Ultimate, Qurtoba, Andalus, Internship, PichPoint, Art Technology. This agreement allows students to visit companies and use their different facilities and work with me in developing Information Systems.In addition, there are relationships according to internship period with IT companies and any company facilitate IT in their work. And also some joined graduation projects are usually held out in cooperation with local industrial companies.

Teaching and Learning

Teaching and learning methods adopted in this program include lectures, seminars, course projects, student presentations, and home works. All of these include modern technology facilities such as modern software, powerpoint etc.

Coursework and Assessment

Assessment criteria includes: Exams (first, second and final), course projects by using modern software, home works and presentations.
