Introduction
The key feature of International Business studies is a strong orientation toward real-life topics and a problem-solving approach, the development of an entrepreneurial mindset, and the growth of analytical and communication skills. The course subjects are devised in such a way as to ensure active learning, both in terms of the conveyed knowledge and the essential skills. The weekly class time is typically divided into formal lectures and seminars or tutorials. In addition to class time, students are expected to undertake independent studies by preparing for lectures and seminars. This includes: doing homework, preparing class presentations, carrying out research assignments, and writing essays.
Additionally, students can choose:
- To enroll in a double degree and study for 2 years in a partner university.
- Asian Track: A Chinese language and culture course held in the II-VI semesters; upon the successful completion of the course, a certificate is provided, while a semester is spent at a Chinese university and/or summer school.

International Mobility
Students can participate in the ERASMUS+ mobility program or use VU’s Bilateral cooperation agreements which give an opportunity to study at VU’s Partner Universities or do internships abroad.
Program Outcome
From idea to success: our students learn how to turn business ideas into actions, by setting up a business and managing its growth. They develop the following skills:
- Information management: search, locate, analyse and synthesise the information necessary for business purposes.
- Analytical skills: interpret business reports evaluate the performance of an organisation, and select and apply the relevant research techniques for a business and its environment.
- Strategy and planning: prepare and implement business plans.
- Leadership: apply the decision-making methods appropriate to a given business situation.
- Insight: identify business development problems and obstacles, and find the means of their solution.
- Charisma: demonstrate the qualities of independence, good communication and strong presentation skills.

Scholarships and Funding
Five One-off Scholarships equal to 500 Euro each will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international students applying to the Bachelor's program of International Business. The Scholarship is payable directly to the successful applicant after their arrival to study at Vilnius University Business School.
Candidate can apply from any foreign country and has to be unconditionally accepted to study International Business Bachelor's study program at Vilnius University Business School. The applicant must submit a motivational letter explaining why he/she decided to study International Business and how these studies would contribute to his/her professional and personal growth.
