Bachelor in Civil Engineering

To succeed, civil engineers must couple creativity and originality with a deep understanding of technical topics as well as broader areas such as sustainability, design and management. Hasan Kalyoncu University Civil Engineering department, you will study core subjects such as structural, fluid and soil mechanics, engineering design, and construction management; as well as emerging subjects crucial to the future of society such as climate change; resource usage and management; and intelligent and future proof infrastructure.

In your first two years, you will focus on developing fundamental abilities that underpin your later study and future career. There is a mix of theoretical knowledge coupled with practical experience.

The later years of your degree include further theoretical material but with an emphasis now on applying your knowledge to a series of increasingly challenging and realistic design projects. Cooperative Education (CO-OP) is a structured method program that offers students the opportunity to last term period of academic study with periods of work closely related to their major field of study.

Cooperative Education program provides students with employment opportunities while pursuing a degree. The focus of the program is to offer job experiences that utilize the skills and knowledge students are learning in the classroom.
