Introduction
Why Study Physics?
The Physics/Pre-Engineering department presently offers a major in chemical physics and a minor in physics designed for those interested in secondary education.
Aquinas College is a small, friendly institution dedicated to teaching its students in a setting designed to help individuals develop their talent and potential. Physics/Pre-Engineering students begin their AQ education by taking a series of courses in mathematics, engineering, the physical sciences, and the humanities.
How We're Different
Perhaps the greatest demand for teachers at the secondary level is in the area of physics.
Chemical physics is an interdisciplinary major which combines chemistry’s study of the composition of matter with physics’ study of the properties of matter and energy. Courses are drawn from the departments of chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
